Discovering Dublin


Commented visit of the city centre from 9.15 am to 11.30 pm.

Departure from the Times hostel



Head to Trinity College at 9.15 am. The college was founded in 1592 by Queen Elizabeth I. It is the oldest University of Ireland, designed to model Oxford and Cambridge universities.


09.35 am passing through O’Connell Street...

O'Connell Street is one of Dublin’s main avenues : the equivalent of our ´Champs Élysée with 500 meter long, it is also one of the widest in Europe.

10.15 am Ha Penny Bridge and Temple Bar

The Ha'penny Bridge  is a pedestrian bridge

built in May 1816 over the River Liffey in Dublin.

The area is bounded by the Liffey to the North, Dame Street to the South,

Westmoreland Street to the East and Fishamble Street to the West.

Temple Bar is  a lively cultural quarter with cobblestone street and is famous for its vibrant nightlife.
